Fretting
Okay, here’s the deal. I’m going to find a job. It’s not something I’m good at, but it needs to be done post-haste. A little money in my pocket would cure a multitude of ills at this point, and let me clear up the last looming variables that prevent me from making any grand proclamations.

Find an atlas. Look it up. Here’s a hint: find Seattle. Go north. Farther. Little farther. No, that’s Canada. Back a smidge. There.
I predict you’ll be hearing much more about this breezy little town on Puget Sound, once I get my comp hooked up to the internet in a day or two. In my apartment. Because I got an apartment here. Yes.
Live from the Emerald City
Hi from HI-Seattle hostel, below Pike Street Market in rain-slicked downtown Seatown.
After Portland, I almost decided to turn back, to go off the rails completely and give the state of Washington a pass. I’m glad I didn’t, Seattle is an excellent city, but… I don’t know, it just doesn’t speak to me. I guess I’m just more of a country mouse than a city mouse. Read more
