As I left off last time: I started the process of getting stuff on Ebay last night and today. This is actually a bit more cumbersome than I thought it would be. When you’re selling stuff in the sub-$50 range, the choices get a little tough. Long auction period or short? List a small start price and end up getting 50 cents for your effort? Or list a higher start price and get *nothing* for your effort, because it doesn’t sell? Spend the extra $0.45 for a gallery pic, and thus cut your profits down to a nickel? Or risk taking a loss?

Although, the nice thing about the sub-$50 range is that you’re basically funding the operation from your loose change jar. So the losses are more psychological than fiscal, like loosing the pot in a no-stakes poker game.

I have to keep reminding myself that I’m doing this just to learn how to do it, not to actually make money. I can see myself loosing money at this, even. Ah well. Even if it doesn’t sell, I can at least say “I tried” as I toss the thing over the back fence.
